Boats at sunset
I took this picture without a fancy lens or filter. I just pointed and clicked. The colors amaze me. But let's talk more about training the eye and imagine the photo without the leaves in the foreground. I do not think this photo would be nearly as interesting or well-framed without them. The leaves in the foreground inform the viewer about the position of the photographer, and so we get more information and a frame not only for the photo but a frame of reference. The contrast of the black leaves against the purple sky also adds another color dimension.
