Purple

I designed this apartment on a budget for a friend of mine.  She really loves purple which was a challenge.   Purple is considered the hardest color in design.  I used lots of neutrals in the space and the room works well.  I love the little armless chair in grey with the lavender pillow.  The chandelier is a Juliska globe - and I was pleased with the light it gives off - it feels like being under water and somehow echoes the swirls in the rug.
